End of 2014

As the year draws to an end I would like to thank every one of our customers for their patronage. We have served well over 100,000 customers this year and I certainly appreciate every single one of them. Without all of the support of you (our loyal customers), the staff and I, here at Goyer Ace, would all be out of jobs. THANK YOU!

As we move through the holidays and into the New Year keep us in mind. We have a good selection of practical Christmas gifts to help finish up your holiday shopping for the season. We are also working with our suppliers and should be able to stay in stock on ice melt through the season. We will stock snow shovels and windshield scrapers until all the snow is gone, as well.

We are continually updating our product assortments so stop in often to check out what's new.

If there are products you would like to see please let myself or our staff know and we will consider stocking it.

Be sure to check us out and LIKE us on Facebook for weekly updates.

I wish you all a HAPPY, HEALTHY, and PROSPERIOUS 2015!

Hello!

I recently returned from the fall Ace Hardware show in Orlando, Florida. While I was there I had the opportunity to see many of the awesome new products that will be arriving in our store over the next several months!

In early November be sure to stop in and check out a new assortment of power tools, including an expanded selection of lithium-ion powered cordless tools. These will be great for all your winter projects!

We will be expanding many other areas in our store over the next several months like our selection of outlet strips and surge suppressors in the electrical department, and in February our selection of drapery hardware will be getting a makeover!

Next spring, our Paint Studio will have a NEW line of exterior stains made by Cabot as well as NEW Ace brand exterior latex stain that features easier application and clean up.

Be sure to stop in often to see what's new at Goyer Ace here in Fort Atkinson and don't forget to follow us on our Facebook page! We look forward to your next visit! Happy Fall everyone!

Right now is the time to start getting your yard ready for lush, green grass!  After your lawn dries out, the first thing that should be done is to pick up branches and debris that the snow has left behind, then rake to get up some of the dead grass. You don’t need to get up all the dead grass, raking lightly will be sufficient.

Crabgrass was unusually bad last summer which means you’ll need to treat for it this spring. When the weather warms up and the low temps are consistently in the 50s apply a fertilizer with crabgrass preventer. This will help green your lawn and prevent crabgrass from germinating. It will also help prevent some early season weeds from germinating as well.

You may want to consider purchasing a 4-step annual fertilizer program. The 4- step program includes:

1) Crabgrass Preventer w/ Fertilizer
2) Weed and Feed
3) Mid Season fertilizer
4) Winterizer

By purchasing all 4 steps now you’ve got them on hand when you need them. There are also some great rebates available now.

I will post on my BLOG when the time is right for each application. Check back often.
Happy Spring,
Jim
